Somniloquy is the term that describes the act of talking while asleep. All of the images in our Somniloquy series have to do with exposure blends and creativity: day shots for the foreground and night shots for the sky, processed and blended via Lightroom & Photoshop CC with a dream state in mind.

Milky Way and Moon rise reflections over the Penobscot River at Sandy Point Beach in Maine. Captured as our workshop was wrapping up in March 2017, this was a beautiful but brutal scene to photograph in single digit temps with a blustery 25+mph wind that wouldn't let up during the four hours we were shooting.
Sand Beach Pano
This image is a 6 shot panorama at Sand Beach in Acadia National Park featuring the full arc of the Milky Way and some of the most incredible green and magenta airglow we've ever seen.

Shadow Rays at Marshall Point
Marshall Point lighthouse is one of our favorite spots to shoot at night. In this image the ‘wagon wheel’ effect from the astragals in the tower's cap design adds to the otherworldly feel.
Sandy Point Galaxy Rise
The early spring Milky Way rises at Sandy Point Beach Park in Maine.
An incredible display of airglow on the Schoodic Peninsula in Acadia National Park, Maine.
